At 5D Steakhouse in Fulshear, the vision was to go beyond serving great food by creating an outdoor play space where children could explore while parents relaxed and enjoyed their dining experience. Adventure Playground Systems designed and installed a custom commercial playground that blends seamlessly with the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. This project featured the installation of a complete commercial playground designed for children ages 5–12, creating a fun, safe, and inviting space for families to enjoy. The play area centers around the Boden Composite Playground, offering a variety of climbing, sliding, and interactive play experiences that encourage physical activity, imagination, and social development. To provide additional play opportunities for younger visitors, the playground also includes a Horse Spring Rider and a Stegosaurus Spring Rider. These standalone play elements add variety while promoting balance, coordination, and imaginative play.

Safety was a key priority throughout the project. The playground is surrounded by green rubber nugget safety surfacing designed for a 7-foot critical fall height, providing impact attenuation while maintaining a natural appearance. The surfacing is contained with durable black poly timber borders and installed over a geotextile liner to help improve drainage, reduce weed growth, and extend the life of the play area. By offering an engaging amenity for families, 5D Steakhouse has created an environment that attracts new visitors, encourages repeat business, and provides a memorable experience that extends beyond the meal itself.
