Loose Fill Rubber Mulch
Loose Fill Rubber Mulch or “Kiddie Nuggets” are made up of 100% recycled shredded rubber. It is ADA compliant and offers some of the best impact absorbing properties of all loose fill surfaces. With it’s great rating for fall heights, you only need approximately half the depth to equal the safety of other materials such as engineered mulch. Despite the higher initial investment, Kiddie Nuggets can be more economical than Engineered Wood Fiber since it does not decompose, requiring fewer top-offs. Children will stay cleaner and splinter free when jumping and falling on the surface because it will not create dust, decompose, rot or absorb water.
