Summer Lakes HOA

At Summer Lakes HOA in Rosenberg, Texas, Adventure Playground Systems helped transform an aging play area into a distinctive new destination built around imaginative play.The centerpiece of the new space is a Custom APS Train Structure, designed for children ages 5–12. With 15 different play activities and capacity for approximately 35–40 children, the train-inspired design turns the playground itself into part of the adventure. Kids can climb, explore, interact, and move throughout a structure that brings a playful, recognizable theme to the community.

To protect the children from the heat we also incorporated a custom Twin Hypar Sail Shade Structure. Spanning approximately 38′ x 49′, the six-post system features two large overlapping shade sails positioned at varying heights, creating both visual interest and substantial coverage over the play environment.

Beneath the playground, cedar-red rubber nugget safety surfacing creates a durable, cushioned play area designed to support active play while complementing the overall look of the space. The completed playground gives Summer Lakes HOA a refreshed community amenity where children can explore, play, and stay active while families enjoy time together outdoors. From the custom train-themed structure to the expansive shade coverage, every element works together to create an inviting space built for everyday neighborhood fun.
